Bistro 40 - Greensboro

Everything was excellent! Jackson was the best server and a great storyteller. Try the Brussels sprouts.

Bistro 40 in the downtown Marriott Hotel is not exactly a destination restaurant but during a recent stay in the hotel, we enjoyed two breakfasts. For breakfast, one can choose items from the menu or the buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast, while very good, is expensive at $19.95 (includes coffee). During our first breakfast, some of the items were not as hot as they could be. All the typical breakfast items are available for buffet diners and omelettes may be made to order. The fresh fruit was wonderful and the coffee excellent. I ordered off the menu the second morning and was happy to see turkey sausages on the menu excellent! Service from the waitstaff was outstanding making attentive and friendly. There are a few areas which could benefit from improvement, but breakfast in the hotel is convenient and appreciated.

My family ate here after my son's college graduation. Mark was an excellent contact who kept me abreast of my reservation sent a menu ahead of time for our review. The staff was excellent and the food was very fresh and delicious.

Quiet, cozy, intimate setting, not to mention the food is superb...Terry is the best waitress, she's one of the reasons we keep coming back!!

I was in a city I knew nothing about and this was a good meal and I did not have to find my way around the city
