We ordered calamari it was overcooked and fishy way overpriced for the serving size we got. When we voiced our concerns the server said that he's never ordered it before so he doesn't know what it even looks like. It wasn't just us being treated like that, it was the whole place, I get it's an off day... but every customer matters. Also a heads up, they include 20% gratuity (or at least they did to us, a couple at the bar) to the check. Would give this a second chance just for the property alone but they definitely need to have some managerial or staffing changes.
Beautiful place at the lake for adults and families. Food is fantastic! Would love if the had a few more choices of non-alcoholic beers. Currently only option is Bud light Zero.
This was my first time at Coconuts! We came by boat for a late lunch and it was busy. We got lucky and got one of the last dock spots. The 21+ pool bar had a dj that was playing some good, loud music. But the bad part was that there was no kind of bouncer or anything to limit the area or ID people. The pool was PACKED full of people and since COVID isn't completely out of our lives, we were too spooked to get in there with everyone. Instead, we went and sat inside the restaurant because it was pretty hot outside. Our waitress was friendly and attentive enough. The menu wasn't massive but reasonably priced compared to some other lake restaurants. The frozen drinks were good as well, but not as tasty as Shady Gators and Franky and Louie's! Would definitely come back, hopefully when the pool isn't as crowded.
Our 1st visit in many many years and lots of changes. The crab sandwich was AWESOME!!! Service was really great! Lots of beach boozy drink options. We just ate upstairs and did not use the pool or bar area .
My son took me to Coconuts for lunch. We ordered a drink called Pain In The A which included rum runner pina colada with a rum floater on top. This frozen beverage absolutely quenched our thirst! We ordered the Beach Nachos which included corn tortilla chips, queso cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream with shredded chicken. They have ground beef as an option as well. There was a live DJ jamming out the tunes and a swimming pool party!
