Don Luis Mexican Grill - Grand Haven

Pretty much your typical Mexican restaurant. The salsa was pretty good. I had an enchilada and a taco with rice and beans. The beans and rice as well as the enchilada was really good. The taco was a little soggy because their beef is wet. If you want a sit down Mexican place in grand haven give it a try.

We were in Grand Haven visiting family and we decided to come here for dinner, the food was amazing! Everyone was happy with their food. The service was also great, perfect place for good food and nice people!

Went there for a late lunch. Just a handful of customers in the place....but there was a huge group at one table. Server arrived promptly, and after browsing the menu, I decided on Burrito Roqueta. To be honest, most of the food is the same, just arranged differently. So the beef on the burrito is the same beef on a taco, or fajita, etc. Food to our table arrived quickly I'd say....I imagine it's just a matter of assembly in the kitchen. But after our food arrived, we never have a server check up on us! I had to flag him down for a drink refill and then later for the check. Will I be back? Probably. But not in any hurry.

I ate here while visiting a friend, and it's refreshing to be able to get such amazing AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Aside from the delicious tamales I would recommend the amazing margs!

My mom was taken advantage on the lunch special. Order 2 $7.99 lunch specials with an order of guac. They charged my mother $32.00. Food was horrible and watery. Will never recommend. Worse Mexican in the area!! Chalupa was soggy on the whole bottom!! Definitely took advantage of an older lady and didn't have the quality of food to turn a blind eye!! I would have given minus stars. The Mexican restaurant on Robbins Rd is the one to go too!!!
