Porky's BBQ & Poutine - Grand Bend

This was the absolute best place we visited while on vacation. We went back before we left just to get a last chance fix. The owners are wonderful people and amazing cooks! We are planning on going back to visit Labor Day Weekend and we can't wait!

We decided to stop and try some BBQ on our way back from up north. Porky's is a small take-out counter with outdoor seating behind a hotel on the main highway. Unfortunately, it had rained before our arrival, so all the seating was wet. We got take out and ate in our car.There is a wide variety on the menu from pulled pork sandwiches & poutine, sausage, burgers, fish & chips, cabbage rolls, pierogies, schnitzel, Polish crepes, potato pancakes and Hungarian goulash.We tried the pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork poutine, both of which were very tasty. The pork was very flavourful and moist.We would love to go back and try some of the other European dishes. Don't be fooled the tiny inside counter - this is good homemade food.

We saw the sign while we were stuck in traffic after the races for homemade perogies, so we decided to give it a try.... they were delicious, just like my grandma use to make. there is outdoor picnic bench seating or you can get take-out and take it back to your place... we also had delicious potato pancakes and schnitzel. If you love polish food, Porky's is definitely worth the wait since it's all homemade!!! The service was great!!!!! We will be going back next year for sure :)

For the best in homemade polish food, this is it! Try the stuffed potato pancakes!!! Renata is an amazing cook, and everything is made from scratch.

Stopped by to grab some Poutine Owner gracious and we enjoyed her service:) The Poutine had a nice gravy and nice amount of cheese
