Gordon Hotel Bistro - Goulburn

We were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this restaurant. Despite the dark, rainy night and our initial reservations, we were quickly put at ease upon entering. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, even addressing our request to lower the music. The menu was impressive and portions were generous. The food was of high quality, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Stay here, eat them here, drink them here, what a great hotel, personal really friendly, like to serve. mealtimes just beautiful.

Recently with a group to lunch. eating was nothing great, but at $12 for the lunchtime specials they don't expect much. chicken carvings were dry and the vegies were almost boiled in a mosque. a few in our group had the garlic puwns...off the full price menu on $24. had about a dozen small school runs on rice with hardly a hauch garlic very disappointing. on the top the beer was good and the personal friendly.

We visited the gordon for the $10 lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. the meal times were well presented and the choice of the meal was not too bad atmosphere was nice with xmas decorations around the room well worth visiting and will be back for the $10...lunch

Eleven bods. for lunch yesterday at bistro in spotless pleasant surrounds.With a set menu, together with daily blackboard specials a range of dishes were subsequently devoured.Seafood pie pork belly popular as was crumbed calamari all in generous servings.All meals presented simultaneously within a reasonable...time frame.A step back to yesteryear is part of the attraction in this beautifully maintained hotel together with attentive pleasant service from bar/bistro staff.Prices are quite reasonable.All usual pub amenities TAB/POKIES etc are available.Shall return!
