Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a small restaurant with a casual appearance, but don't let that fool you - the food I tried was absolutely delicious. During my lunch, I witnessed a staff member meticulously cleaning plantain leaves for snacks like Ada. The staff's body language was informal but friendly, making for a warm atmosphere.
I recently returned to Ernakulam for a 4-month stay while my wife was back at her home town awaiting the arrival of our second child. During my time there, I was looking for a place where I could enjoy a meal that reminded me of home, and luckily I found Maruti Restaurant. Despite its humble appearance, this family-run establishment served delicious vegetarian food in a somewhat clean environment. While they may lack in ambiance and professionalism, they make up for it with a personal touch and great-tasting dishes. Located next to St. Joseph's Church, near Popular Vehicles on the waterfront, this restaurant is a lovely spot for young people to dine.
I moved to Ernakulam 4 months ago and with my wife away at her home place for our second child, I needed to find a place where I could regularly have home-cooked food. Luckily, I discovered Maruti restaurant. Run by a family of Konkani siblings, this small and unassuming place serves delicious vegetarian food in a modest setting. While they may lack in ambiance and professionalism, they make up for it with their personal touch and great tasting dishes. Located next to St. Joseph's church, on a side street opposite Popular Vehicles, this is a great spot for bachelors looking for a tasty meal.
