Legendz Diner - Golden

Greasy spoon diner. It was a delicious filling breakfast. Arrived very quickly after ordering. Would recommend this place for your basic bacon and egg breakfast in Golden.

Driving back to calgary decided to skip fast food and try here. Wasn’t too bad.Got the pinnacle burger.Burgers are a frozen product. Made juicy though.The pineapple was tidbits, I recommend using a ring and do a quick fry on them.Milkshake was ok.Bathrooms were clean, but worn.Table tops are worn.Decor was nice, cool things to look at, starting to feel it could get cluttered if you ad much more. Very very old and dusty.Asked about a deal with the signs, owner was there and said no, I would have boughten a few hundred dollars. All good.Lots of parking outside.You can also eat outside.Worth stopping.

If you’re looking for a clean restaurant with good service and good food…go elsewhere. Very old and dirty diner with horrible service. We sat and waited for 10 minutes before I finally flagged down a waitress. She simply said, can I take you order. I said we’d like some water and drinks to start off. We ended up ordering our drinks (pop, water and iced tea are your options) and food at the same time. Then, after a few minutes, I had to ask if we could get our drinks. She said, they are coming. Our food came within a couple minutes of our drinks no surprise since it took so long to get waited on. One of the couple had ordered cheesecake with their meal and again, we had to ask for their cheesecake and again we were told, “It’s coming”. The waitress did not check on us one time during the meal. The sandwiches were terrible which matched the service. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere better.

It was ok.. The food was fast.. Which was great.. French toast was good bread wise but a little dry.. Needed more batter.The coffee a little slower in coming around.. All in all a good stop.. But I was coming in expecting amazing because of the atmosphere which is my fault too.. Was right at 7am when we arrived.. That's tough anywhereI'll be back to try the spaghetti special.

This restaurant was just mediocre. We stopped in for a late breakfast. I would not recommend the breakfast scramble the potatoes were blanched and had no flavor or seasoning. The coffee was extremely weak and tasted water down. The decor was very dated and furniture in disrepair. We had to call the server to bring forgotten items as he didn't check in on us. This restaurant is fine for a quick bite to eat while driving through but I won't be in a hurry to eat again.
