New Seoul Restaurant - Gold Coast

We were unaware that the restaurant had changed management, but we were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful and soothing ambiance. A friendly and helpful young waiter served us, and we ordered delicious appetizers and main courses. It is difficult to find good, healthy food at reasonable prices these days, so we give this restaurant a thumbs up.

I tried Korean BBQ for the first time and I absolutely loved it! It was a bit pricey though, as we ended up spending over $80 for just the two of us. The Baby Octopus was my favorite dish by far!

We stayed at Christmas vacation in Gold Coast for a week in 2014 and we wanted to try another kitchen every night. On 26 Dec, we wanted to taste South Asian food and we met this Korean restaurant by chance. We saw the on-the-table bbq, we were excited and wanted to be there. We ordered cool chicken and baby octopus with chili for bbq, fish cake and egg fuyong (type) and chicken noodles. The fish cake was the best, the bbq dishes were fine (chilly chicken baby octopuss), although we thought it was lacking flavor, the egg was very bland, we had to add a lot of pepper and salt to make it tasty. But the chicken noise was completely fit and my son couldn't eat it at all. Overall, it was an average meal, but the bill was pretty high at 101$! After we paid the bill, we felt it was a demolition! But our plan to try a new kitchen was successful and maybe we'll try the place again when we visit GC next time.

So amazing food. I found the service fantastic! I traveled from Victoria to dinate again thanks to the fantastic food and service.

We had lunch at this restaurant on the last day of our holiday. We ordered 2 main dishes and 2 appetizers. We usually order more, but we were satisfied with the generous portions. The food was flavorful and fresh. The service from the young lady was excellent. We highly recommend this place for delicious and affordable Korean food. Just be aware that the restaurant sign says "Bassim", but my credit card statement showed "New Seoul".
