Yummy Dumplings Robina - gold-coast

We were running late due to a dead car battery and had to wait for RACQ. We called the restaurant and explained our situation. Despite arriving almost an hour after closing time, they went out of their way to stay open so we could pick up our order. We were blown away by their exceptional customer service.

After shopping in Robina Town Centre, we decided to try this restaurant because we are big fans of dumplings. Despite the mixed reviews on Google, we were too tired and it was raining heavily so we went in anyway. We ordered black bean beef with steamed rice, pork and celery dumplings, pork and cabbage dumplings, and short soup. They were all delicious! They reminded me of the authentic flavors of northern Chinese cuisine that I had experienced many years ago in Harbin. The short soup had a taste that reminded me of a restaurant in Hong Kong. While some dishes on the menu may not be perfect, the ones we ordered were incredibly satisfying. We will definitely be returning.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and delicious. The chef has a friendly and rustic appearance which I really like. However, I would appreciate a more organized dining area with inviting colors, a neat counter, and proper storage for drinks. It would be great to see card boards displayed near the counter. I would prefer a more inviting dine-in experience as I find that takeaway food tends to lose some of its taste by the time I get home and plate it.
