Caldwell County Bbq - Gilbert

Wow, wow, wow, wow! the el general patton can be the best bbq sandwich I've ever had. certainly the best bbq in az! do not miss this place.

There is no better barbecue than this place hands-down and the ambience outside and the cleanliness is a thumbs up too. Its my favorite place to go have a meal year round. Staff and customer service is great as well I even enjoyed our second location that has a Mexican food twist to it. Gluten-free bread options would be great for other families that can't eat the breads there.

This place came highly recommended by some friends so we thought we'd try it. It was about a 45 min drive for us but was well worth it!! We arrived right at 11am on a Saturday and it filled up quickly. We sat outside as we had our dog with us. We tried the brisket, pork, sausage links and Mac n cheese! All were very tasty as flavorful. My personal fav was the brisket with the spicy bbq sauce. Definitely will be back!

Hands down the Best brisket I have had anywhere. I would definitely recommend Caldwell.

Best BBQ in the east valley, hands down. Better than Rudy's. Better than Bobby Q's. Also, I smoke a pretty good brisket but it does not come close to Caldwells as far as flavor and tenderness. I'd love to know how they do it. I'm also impressed with the 3 huge smokers they have that take up most of the parking lot. Parking is tight during busy times, but these guys are serious about BBQ. Highly recommend.
