Contribuiți la feedbackInside, to the left is a semicircular bar, and to the right are several bench-like tables, with the restrooms located further in. The decor is entirely wooden and rich with history, showcasing photographs, sports memorabilia, and posters displaying the restaurant’s specialties, particularly its breakfasts. The staff is a mix of English speakers and those who communicate in somewhat clumsy Spanish. If you order a coffee, be warned that it may come to you lukewarm. Aside from that, the waitstaff is very friendly; in fact, I once left a video game there, still in its box, and when I called the next day, they had it safe and sound, waiting for me. As a tavern, they offer a solid selection of beers and spirits, and the decor includes flags of English football teams like Arsenal. In addition to traditional English breakfasts, the menu features salads, pizzas, fish, and various meats. Their specialties include chicken dishes, especially the chicken curry, although I recommend asking for it to be less spicy, as it can be quite intense. Desserts and sodas are another highlight. If you order a soda, you’ll get it in a standard plastic bottle. Overall, it’s a great spot for a meal, and if you have some shopping to do, you can easily pop into one of the two shops across the street between courses.
The issue of price transparency leaves much to be desired.
