The avocado toast is a favorite with me. They have a good variety of bread and I always leave with loaf of sourdough. Their pastries and cookies are also good. I visited on a Saturday with family. The girl who took our order was extremely rude, didn?t greet us when we walked in, and then mocked me when I asked to order Matcha with lemonade because apparently they don?t serve it despite having both Matcha and lemonade on the menu. We ordered our food to go and without any direction from staff as to where to wait for our food, we politely moved to the side and waited. Pleasant atmosphere. The adult grilled cheese and Greek couscous were tasty. There are two small tables in the front (outside) if you want to sit on the square, and a few (indoors) in the back of the cafe.
My husband and I stopped in for a quick breakfast before one of the local tours. We got a selection of breakfast pastries, the apple tart was by far the best! The cinnamon raisin twist was a little more bread like texture than I was expecting but still tasted ok. This is my new favorite spot to eat in Gettysburg! Simple ingredients done perfectly! I loved the atmosphere as well. The perfect place to grab a quite lunch, settle down and write your next novel, or pick up a perfect loaf of bread.
