The Pie Folks - Germantown

Spectacular! Slap yo Momma chocolate cake is of course amazing. The strawberry and the apple are also great. One thing I really like in this place is how friendly the staff is. Besides, if you don't think what cake you want, you can have half of a taste and half of another. You can also buy discs.

The Pie Folks is the best dessert place in the city. I tried over half of the menu and I'm always coming for the Ape Wild Banana. I just tried the Blueberry and Strawberry Rhubarb and they were excellent. I recommend the blueberry warm and the strawberry rhubarb cold. Seriously.

It was our first time in the shop and we were greeted by Darryl. He was very welcoming and only one of these guys with a great personality! We had a sample of Slap yo Mama and it was delicious. We have a wedding cake cupcake and pecan, coconut, Java Mocha, a Slap Yo mama chocolate cake. They were absolutely delicious! Like the kind of cake you put in your mouth and a little... The owner came out to give us our order and she was very friendly. The Pie Folks are good people with great cakes!

I got a half lemon icebox and half pecan pie and they were both just wonderful. Lovely owners and nice conversation, too! Can't wait for the Whataburger to be built and see the pies fly even faster off their shelves. This will be a must-stop for me from now on when I'm in Memphis. Thank you, Pie Folks! :

Customer service is great!! I had the slap yo mama pie or whatever it's called and it didn't taste good to me but my boyfriend said it was one of the best pies he ever tasted
