I had barely arrived and only had 2 minutes to choose. 3) The main course order was perfect. 4) The appetizer service was just okay. 5) The main course service was a bit disorganized, as they served the women before me. 6) The taste of the appetizer was good, but the steak was overcooked and had a burnt crust. 9) The dessert was unsatisfactory. 10) The dessert order was correct. 11) The coffee service was slow and I had to wait. Overall, there is room for improvement in the kitchen, such as the presentation of the dishes and desserts. One standout waitress knew her job well, but it is important for all staff to know how to properly say goodbye to customers, not just regulars.
We decided to have dinner at a new restaurant tonight. As soon as we arrived, the chef started yelling into the microphone and blasting loud music. It was clear that he was drunk. When we asked the waiter if this was going to continue, he said it would until the chef passed out. We decided to leave without ordering anything and went to eat somewhere else.
Last week, I decided to try the mussels at this restaurant. They were listed as a specialty on the menu. I have never had dry mussels like these before and they seemed like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. We also had to wait much longer for our order compared to other tables. When I mentioned this issue to the staff, they promptly replaced them with a new batch. Unfortunately, the replacement mussels were also dehydrated and not very enjoyable. My friend opted for bread instead of fries and received stale bread that seemed to be from the previous day. Overall, it seems like the staff at this restaurant are more focused on serving the soccer crowd rather than providing quality food. I had heard good things about this place as a steakhouse, but it seems their mussels are not up to par. Perhaps it was just an off night, but I left feeling disappointed.
