Prairie House Family - Gaylord

We had breakfast here for deer camp 2 saturdays in a row. All of loved the food and service. We miss having this open during the week. Kid-friendliness: My son came with and hasn't been here in a long time. He quickly reminessed about the good ol days. He ate his plate clean and said we need to come back soon. Parking: Plenty of space for parking, even semis. Dietary restrictions: I'm sure they would try to accomodate.

Good food, portion sizes just right. Our waitress Dixie, was great!

I was going to eat here this morning as I pass this place usually when it's not open. I'm glad I read through the reviews. The way the owner goes after people who leave bad reviews is weird plus I don't want to support mask nazis but I'm sure that has calmed down from a previous review about it.

Food is ok, delivery was on time. Would not honor birthday coupon they sent me. The food is too expensive to pay full price. It would also be good if they had a better variety of food. @Prairie House Family Restaurant, as you can clearly see in the picture, I got it August 16, 2021. I didn't even know this place existed a year ago!

I was going to eat here today, but after reading the negative reviews, I think I'm going to pass. Not because of the reviews themselves, but because of the way the ownership goes after them. I find it absurd to charge people for water and then to defend in the manner in which they did is just embarrassing. Then to blame a customer for not getting their sour cream because they showed up early is pathetic. I think I'll go somewhere where the people aren't quite so petty about a negative review.
