Good choice of mainly local wines, also at reasonable prices. Outstanding service. We definitely need to try more here. We'll be back soon.
We got done doing some wine tasting and we stopped into the small roadside restaurant for lunch. We had a starter which was a large piece of round bread topped with pieces of fresh mozzarella covered with sauteed porchini mushrooms. It was delicious. Then I have the pasta with the Ragu di Chinghiale (wild boar sauce). It was the best I've had while in Tuscany. This place is small and open for lunch and dinner and should be tried if you are in the area. The wine list is a bit limited which is kind of strange for the area since there are so many great wine in the area. This is a place that the locals eat at. Little English is spoken but it's not really a problem. This is a place for locals to eat. Real Italy!
Wonderful place. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is perfect. The food was amazingly delicious. They have vegetarian meals, good pasta and they can even make vegan meals witch is perfect. The meat was delicious. All in all is a good place to eat and hang out, worth the trip.
