Great experience to live, it is welcoming, warm, and clean. Good attention to customers and very dedicated owner. Offers group walks to discover the area and its wildlife. Only weakness; it is noisy.
We spent 4 dreamy nights in a tipi on the beach under a sunny sky and in a beautiful setting. Despite the 12-14 degrees at night, we were pleasantly surprised to sleep in a tipi completely isolated from humidity and under sheets that smelled fresh and kept us warm! Pure bliss! The tipi has a table outside and a barbecue where we grilled and roasted marshmallows that we bought at the grocery store 100 meters away from the tipi (you can find all the basic necessities for sale there). The facilities are simple, equipped, and clean (cleaned every other day). You really feel disconnected from everything and the staff is top-notch. The rates are very affordable and I highly recommend the packages offered with sea kayaking to see seals and the whale watching cruise – it's simply magical and very well organized with lots of information about the fauna and flora of this beautiful region. We went hiking every day, visited Gaspé 20 km away, and spent a day in Percé on Bonaventure Island, a 1-hour drive away. In conclusion, it's a magical site that stays connected to nature and should be preserved in this way, without too many tourists, which would ruin the charm of this peaceful place that is so in harmony with the elements.
Bel posto! Prezzo buono.
