Van's Bakery - Garden Grove

The cakes are so good and not excessively sweet. this is my new GoTo place for cake.

Stopped by to get some Vietnamese yogurt but they didn't have any. This is a bakery chain but this store had no customers. They offer special occasion cakes lots of different wedding cakes for custom order. This location had so little bakery items. Their coco, pandan, and coffee jello are good and the texture is crunchier than the American version. I also bought their fruit cake which is good as well. I thought prices were reasonable. I had bought Van's flan/jello cake in the past but this store had none on display.

The reason I came here was because if the good rating and reviews it had. But Horrible pastries we got some fruit tarts and cream puff. Both tasted like they been sitting there for a long time. Cream puffs were hard and no cream inside. Go else where please.

Its definitely my go to cake placeI have been purchasing from them for over 13 years now from my beautiful wedding cake to my daughters quinceañera cake and now every chance i get to celebrate a birthday or just because… love love love this place

Got three items at closing time today and was expecting the Japanese cheese cake to be fresh but it was bitter and spoiled. Both of us spit it back out. Very disappointing, esp given the Van's reputation. The sponge cake creation seems OK.
