The Highland's Din - Shelbyville

Rooms are pricy. Location is out of the way but nice and quiet if that’s what you want. Attended a wedding event. The food was very good and I’m told the price was right for the bride and groom. The service was also good. The house we rented was out of date, worn but clean. My only real complaint is they choose to not provide the two biggest conservative news stations on their Sling service. FoxNews and NewsMax were missing but every socialist Democrat propaganda station you can think of and many you’ve never heard of were. I will not be returning to a resort that hates my political positions to this extent when I can easy find alternatives that respects them.

The owner's replies to problems/complaints here are amateur if not pathetic. My superior stay here years ago prompted me to plan a return. At the premium rates of 2024, service and a rigorous control of standards is a mandate that seems long gone. I will skip. {5 stars for a phenomen week in October of 1989!

The most relaxing beautiful resort. Stayed on property at the White Birches home. It was fabulous and very comfortable for my family of 5.

My husband and I stopped there for lunch. Beautiful scenic view from the patio we sat . Our lunch was delicious and our waitress was so sweet and attentive. We were there on June 14. Next time we visit Vermont we will stop there again.

I had a great moment with my family renting from Mountain Top Sports. The staff were friendly and helpful. They ensured we were well fitted when it came to bike rental. Their prices are friendly, and their bikes are in good condition.
