Restaurant Himmelsstube - Kur-Cafe

The breakfast buffet was so good that we ate here twice. There were plenty of options for everyone in our group. We really enjoyed it. We also ate dinner here one night, which was also good. But this breakfast was the best and most relaxed...we had on our 10 day trip to Germany.

We ate here as we were staying in the hotel but were incredibly disappointed with the food. Three years ago the food was very good but not any more.

The restaurant is adjacent to Hotel Schlosskrone. It is elegant and comfortable. If it was not for the paper napkins used for dinner, it would be more sophisticated. We ate here two nights in a roll, and had very good food and not so good...food. On Tuesday night, we had the beef broth and dumpling soup, and it was delicious. We also had the salad with shrimps, of which the shrimps are perfectly cooked and juicy and tasty. We had the same soup again the next night, though a little different from the first night, it was also good. My husband’s Wiener schnitzel was almost perfect. However, my crispy duck was the not so good one. It was over cooked, not tasty, and not crispy. If the shrimp salad and the Wiener schnitzel are 5-star dishes, the duck is only a 2-star.

The restaurant skymelsstube is not recommended. the service is inattentive, we were not even asked if we would like to drink something else. the champagne was too warm. the weinglas - although not empty - was already cleared. when the order was taken, the waiter leaned casually with both poor ones on the chair. the gruß of the kitchen consisted of a dry slice of brittle, hard crimped butter and with spasm cut melone ham.The imperial bull was only lukewarm - the servier pan did not preheat. the ofenkartoffel with salate was ok. but what could you do wrong? the spatiality was nice.

After we were recently invited to chili and had eaten excellently, we thought we were going to the other restaurant of the house. here we had eaten super. the service was also here courtesy and attentive. very good - many thanks for the beautiful evening.
