Contribuiți la feedbackCame after a day trip to some sushi. I admit that my friends did not choose the most deceitful rolls when I was looking forward to fresh thun-fish and salmon rolls. they ordered from any reason strong tempoura garnel roll, so is part of the absentness from my experience. Nevertheless, I was generally quite disappointed. for beginners we ordered the rocky garnel and utter. rocky garnelen taste as they expect, no complaining there. is it worth the 9? eh perhaps closer to 5, max 7. in my experience with the ordering of oysters everywhere, they bring sauces for them to dress them as they please, which I very much prefer. the oysters are presaturated, including washabi. I am not much of a Wasabi person in general, but above all not on my oysters. none of us recognized the pairing until we ate it. it's a little more than 2 per oysters, which is fair, but I'd rather wear my own oysters. we ordered a few drinks; I ordered the blue hawaiian who was super tasty, sweet, wished it was just a little stronger. friend ordered love potion and she was disappointed, there was missing a sugary rim slightly sweet, but the strawberry was there, also makes for a delicious cocktail. for our rolls, the party got slender kiss, shaggy dog, scorpion and avocado gel. I wasn't sure they were more personal. we had problems with the avocado gel. the roll is large cut, but thin, therefore the soultang is wrapped long when it is eating, the seatang wrap piece was very difficult to eat through, a few of us almost stuffed while eating it. Finally, the greatest disappointment of them all: the tamago. lol yes it is just a, but we all love to order it. that is definitely not worth 5. we have ordered two plates, but they have given only one order and I am glad because what was brought out was only sad. I have never served such a thin, floppy piece sweet sponge in my life. the texture was also out, almost dry..it remembered more of snow fungus that if they did not try to imagine a slightly soft, tough cartilage. as I said, I love tamago, it was just not. on a positive note, our server was super polite and sweet. overall, at the price, I wouldn't come back here. the experience was lacking and did not fulfill my expectations. I really wanted to love this place as they were a potential rotating sushi bar, but I wouldn't even come back when they started it. Maybe the teppanyaki site is better?
Went for the first time last week with my husband for lunch. We had tried to go to Heirloom but it was beyond slammed, and decided to try Nami since it was in the same shopping center and we love sushi. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty. There were maybe 3 other customers there. We were seated right away by the server. He asked what we wanted to drink, and we ordered tea and waters. He then left to put the order in, came back within a few minutes with our drinks, and then said he would come back after checking on the other guests. We went through the menu and decided to order the baked mussels, sea salt edamame, I wanted the seafood salad as my entree, and my husband wanted the dragon roll for his entree. Our server was checking on the other guests for awhile, and was the only one helping on the floor. There was another man we saw who would come out from the back every once in awhile and slowly walk around, only to retreat back into the employee area. The only other employee we saw working was the chef behind the sushi counter. I was starting to get anxious because my lunch hour was dwindling down, and we eventually had to wave the server down to get our order. We ordered everything at once and waited. And waited. And waited. The music was like a Japanese zen garden kind of music and was seriously going to put me to sleep. Eventually he brought out the seafood salad, and I was shocked at how small it was. It was on a small plate like the size you get for a bread roll and it was drenched in sauce. It was good, however the sauce was overwhelming and I found myself almost gagging because it was too much, almost like soup. I ordered the seafood salad as my entree and the fact that it was the size of my fist was really disappointing. They should move that option to the appetizer menu. I felt bad that I was eating before my husbands roll came out, but as I said I was on a lunch break and had to get back. Eventually the server brought out the edamame and the baked mussels. Still no dragon roll. The baked mussels were very good. The edamame was extremely over cooked. They hardly had any salt, and they turned to mush the moment you touched them. I have never had bad edamame, and I was pretty surprised that they looked at what they were about to serve and thought it was a good choice to bring out. As my husband are eating the mussels and trying to make the best of the edamame mash, we see a roll that looks like the dragon roll on the sushi counter. The server was going around the place cleaning, arranging things, wiping things down, and walked past the roll at least 5 7 times. He never once looked at us as we tried to get his attention, and he stayed on the other side of the restaurant so of course we're not going to yell across the room to contact him. My husband and I were in disbelief that no one thought to bring us the food sitting there staring at our faces. We waited for almost ten minutes with the roll sitting on the counter. Finally, my husband had enough and he went to the sushi counter and asked the chef if that was his dragon roll. The chef said yes. He asked if he could just take it to our table because our server wasn't serving us at all. The chef looked almost ashamed, and nodded. So my husband grabbed his roll and walked back to our table. As he walked back, he passed the server and the server smiled at him like nothing! The server didn't even come to the table and say hey so sorry! Didn't see the roll there. How's it tasting? Do you need anything? He literally never came back to our table to check on us. My husband finally ate his food, and then we sat once again waiting for the server to glimpse our way for a check. While we were waiting to get the servers attention, a new guest came in and was seated on the opposite side of us. He immediately started taking her order, so we took that chance to interrupt and ask for our check as we had been waiting awhile. My husband had his card ready because he didn't want to have to wait another absurd amount of
It's like everyone who works here either has never worked in a restaurant or hates working here . The server Vincent was so slow , took his time and stood around, another server on the tepenyaki side came over to dine in and refused to help after the hostess asked, who also sat parties that came in after us before us. The food is subpar and the lack of customer service is a new bar for disappointment. Similar experiences on every other occasion we've been here, never coming back and going to Namikaze instead. When I was a server and a hostess I would have never gotten away with such a lack of urgency
3.5 stars Service is good, seating is spacious and deco is fine. One of the sushi chef has been sniffling the whole time and he's not wearing a mask. Food wise, butterfly kiss roll is beautifully presented but a tad too much soy sauce at the bottom. The tonkasu noodle broth doesn't feel tonkasu and the chasiu is not soft enough but the overall portion is generous. The sashimi bento box came with salmon tuna and white butter fish, which is better than the usual salmon run hamachi combo.
My dine in food was brought out to me with burnt noodles and overcooked meat and my childrens plate came about an hour after my food was brought out...
