Manhattan Steakhouse - Fresno

This dining place is just a block I live from, I was only there a few times ago: about 30 years ago and then again last night. I guess I wasn't impressed by my first visit, but I have to say that my wife's visit was not disappointed last night. We arrived at 17:00, which is a happy hour by chance. It is not a happy hour for drinks, but for their appetizers that are 3 for $20.00. We ordered drinks and 3 appetizers: fish tacos, onion rings and sawed chicken with cabbage. I had a margarita and my wife had Hendricks on the rock. Margarita was good, but nothing special and the Hendricks is what it is. However, the appetizers were another story: healthy portions and delicious. We thought we would order a dinner later and share it, but we were full of appetizers, so we just left the cream broth that might have been the best cream broth I ever had. Excellent service and great atmosphere. We will definitely come back, and probably soon.

I've been past this place for 20 years and I've never been gone. A bunch of us decided to eat and certainly glad we were. The food is amazing and they have a wide selection of adult drinks. If you are a Scotch lover, you will love the selection. The service was good, a bit slow for our drinks, but no one really interested. It was busy and there were 10 of us. Can't wait to go again very soon. I had the 32 ounces of Tomahawk and it was fantastic.

Wonderful menu selection and atmosphere for one night. The menu has a variety of beef and seafood options that chop delicious as well as pasta and, my favorites, a double cut pork. You also have a large selection of wine and cocktails and an appropriate cork fee. Reservations are suggested as the waiting time for walking can be long during the busy times.

Had a fantastic dinner in manhattan last night. came to meet a business partner for a drink and ended with dinner with my wife. big steaks, great fish, great atmosphere. the only thing I'm sad is that I've forgotten to make photos! well, it's just a mile on the road so that we'll definitely be back.

I loved this place! Has an old time vibe to it, love the decor. Service by Emily was great! The food was amazing! The lamb and the NY steak were mmmmmm. The sides were awesome as well and the dessert was very good. I will definitely be back in the near future
