Great Texas barbecue. Friendly staff. Everything was delicious. Get the ribs.

My BBQ ribs experience at other places has always been that the ribs were good but not as good as mine. I was always ok with that with the understanding I make Ribs 2 racks at a time and a restaurant makes them on a large scale. Well, this place blew myribs away!!! Amazing Ribs! Best I have ever had out or made myself.

Great little hidden gem of a BBQ spot! I tried the stuffed potato and a pork sandwich, and both were delicious. It's nice that you can watch them slice and chop your meat right when you order. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. It's a very laid-back, local atmosphere—definitely worth a visit!

The barbecue was good—not the absolute best, but definitely tasty. I tried the marbled brisket and sausage ribs, which I enjoyed the most. My only complaint is that I wished the meat portions were a bit more generous given the price I paid. Overall, it’s better than most BBQ places in San Antonio, and it's pretty cool that the restaurant shares the same name as me!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were delighted by the fantastic barbecue! I really enjoyed the owner's sense of humor as well. However, I wasn't a big fan of the potato salad—it was a little too vinegary for my taste, but my friend thought it was quite good. Check out the picture below!
