Miller's Ale House - Franklin

The food at this restaurant is amazing! The entire dining experience, from beginning to end, is excellent. My server, Tiffany, is always friendly and kind. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are fair for the prices. This restaurant is always a reliable spot to enjoy great food.

I never really go to pubs but this experience was fantastic. Lucy greeted my buds and I at the hostess stand and she was a delight making us truly feel like we were family! I wish I could remember the servers name but he was fantastic as well. Thank you Lucy!! I will be returning again! The food was good as well, I got the prime rib and it was fantastic. Thank you Millers for giving a good food expirience and thank you to our server and Lucy!!

So last night, my wife and I went to Millers for dinner. Everything about the food and service was fine except the end when we paid our tab. The server just stood there and watched me calculate my tip (22% . I didn’t quite notice she was just standing there while I calculated my tip. I was really focused on figuring my payment. The tab was close to $79 so I based my 22% tip on that number (mind you the suggested tip amounts that are on the checks are too low. Their checks suggest that 22% is approx $16 while my tip was between $17 $18 . Anyway, after I passed the server my card and walks off, my wife asked me if I noticed she stood there the whole time and watched me process my tip? I told her that I saw, but it didn’t quite register in my mind. I had to admit that was unusual. My wife told the manager about this and he agreed that our server wasn’t supposed to hang around while we’re working on our payment. I didn’t quite care last night, but I’m thinking about it now. I don’t think I appreciate being monitored while I’m blindly paying a server the top tier suggested tip. I admit I still like the food, so I will probably make it a point to only order online, from the Millers on Bakers Bridge going forward.

We had never visited this restaurant before, but decided to try it out for something new. We were quickly seated because it was early and not crowded. Our server, Toot, was a friendly lady, although she seemed to be new and not very familiar with the menu. She had to ask someone about one of the entrees. The food I ordered was good, but the portion of fries was small. I didn't check the prices of the soft drinks on the menu, but $4 seemed expensive to me. I have had better meals at more affordable prices elsewhere. Overall, my personal experience at this restaurant was not excellent, but it was not terrible either. I believe it could improve by addressing these issues.

The Baby back ribs on Monday were delicious and the Cheeseburger was both huge and very tasty.
