Restaurant Flavors - Frankfurt am Main

The Flavors is located in Sheraton Hotel in Frankfurt Airport. You need to walk through the reception and follow the signs. It is a very nice restaurant with wide options. They bring the raw meat/fish to your table for you to decide, how thick you want your meal and weigh it in front of you. Their wine menu is also good and the sommelier is ready to assist if necessary. The service is superb. If you are stuck at the Frankfurt airport and still want to enjoy a nice dinner, Flavors is for sure one of the best options.

Hotel restaurants are not usually fancy so finding a high quality restaurant during our stay in the Frankfurt Sheraton was really nice. The restaurant is spacious, modern decor and has an open kitchen (something I love in restaurants as it gives a more professional sensation). The restaurant speciality is dry aged steaks. We had dinner twice during our business meeting so as a group we tried many of the menus dishes. I personally tried the sliced steak with soya sauce which was very tender and on the second day I tried the grilled salmon which was really good. Overall the experience was good. My only takeaway for reducing a point in the rating is the relatively long time taken to serve the food which happened on both days.

Went here for dinner and had the restaurant special burger - which was really good and cooked exactly as I'd asked for it. A good burger patty and surrounded by a nice bun too. I had the sweet potato fries with it which was great combination. Nice cold beer to accompany it made for a nice meal.

The dinner here was very good and fresh. Service was very good, and the wines better than average. The biggest drawback is the prices are very high...captured market. Breakfast here was very good, and also provided omelets and French Toast.

I tried the 32 Euro signature burger and have to say it was not only poorly prepared but that the ingredient combinations didn't work well either. I ordered the burger medium rare and got it well done. The restaurant manager still wanted me to pay for the burger even though I had I ly take one bite of it. Luckily after a short conversation he changed his mind. Service was not what I expected. I had to wave someone down just to send the burger back. Don't think I will return. Unfortunate as it is one of the few nice places in the airport.
