First Town Foods - Fort Vermilion

Glad to see a little grocery store in town. It has a little bit of everything with reasonable prices. The workers are charming and smiley. Sometimes they do have items on sale, and that is great. The Asian snacks are great. The only feedback that I can give is if they could provide Chipotle as part of Mexican food, that would be great. Other than that, everything is well.

I rate all bakeries 2 stars for even trying with the classics made in house. With that in mind, this store bakery has great potential with just a little more attention to details. ie: a good fresh cake donut but sadly... no nutmeg...a key missing ingredient. : ie2: Royal croissant pastries made fresh in house but choosing to use artificial cream. Not a quality that will make you want to keep coming back. One star is added to the 2 for baking in house in this small town.

This is the only grocery store in Fort Vermillion. They carry almost everything big city stores( la Crete) has but closer to highway 88. Prices are high/ fair for this far north.

Chipotle Omelet Best omelet ever! At least that is what I thinkEvery one of my family members has a favorite though:) I love this place.

This place is poppin' on the weekends! I've been here about 3 or 4 times for Sunday Funday Brunch.
