Contribuiți la feedbackWe were on vacation and I eat smoked meat. We saw this place at the end of our block and gave him an attempt. The food was delicious. Portions were large, meat was tender, and flavors were in place. (Best Cornbread ever. The staff interacted with us and our hot food loving son. They had fun with him to try their sauces. It was funny to watch him register the heat/speed. He said they were all delicious. Great food. Great staff. We were all happy and wish we could eat there again!
This place is absolutely great. 15 years in business with well-trained employees and pit masters. As soon as you smell in the smoke, where do you find this today? When approaching the register, you will see the fire in the rear cooking ribs. Rib tips are both super and friend chicken. Hotlinks are the perfect game. Well done!
The food was great and the service was amazing. We feel like family. My son loves hot sauce and she hooks him with what he says is the best bbq sauce he ever tried.
Read between the lines of low-star reviews that basically write, the food is good, but... and instead focus on the food is good. Then try. They won't be disappointed. Sure, it could not be your favorite leg, and taste. That's personal. But, in Chicagoland, two simple facts make for great tasting smoked meat, and Smokin M's BBQ does both. 1. Pitmaster knows how to cook. Don't laugh. Good pies are not so easy to find. Smoking is more art than recipe, and in any case time to master. We have all experienced smokehouses in our area that can stay in business, while regularly sold out dry, over cooked smoked meat. 2. The shop owner really cares for serving good food and has a kind of quality control on site. That means they work the business, instead of the cashier. Let the RIB TIPS check with mild sauce. Ruin was perfect. It is not a thick crust type that overwhelms, and is in itself a whole separate layer of taste to crunch through before you to the meat. Here, the ruby compliments the meat to create a balance so that the smoked meat taste, and bite, come with a rub spice, not the other way around. The tips were moist, which means... properly smoked. The service is subjective, but the L place on the 75th, is famous for unjustified service and its indifference to customers. It is unimaginable that any place can have bad customer service than Lem 's, and also this place has consistently better ribs than Lem 's anyway. The sauce strongly leans against a vinegar taste. The tomatoes are still there, so it has a complex, deeper taste. Taste vary, but Smokin M's BBQ is easy to check a drive.
Don't really like ribs or rib tips.....but their hot links are good and when I had their chicken it was decent
