Black Pearl Fish & Chips - Fonthill

I ordered takeout from their online menu, which was very convenient. The food was ready for pickup as soon as I arrived at the restaurant.

I ordered the Pho Combination XXL, Thai Red Curry Beef, and Crispy Calamari Seafood with Ginger and Garlic. The food was delicious and flavorful.

Just had Halibut and Chips and it was excellent. Perfectly cooked, crispy batter, handmade chips also perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. It isn't easy to find great fish and chips but this young man has managed to create a lovely business. I'll be a repeat customer. It's take-out only, so call in your order and it will be ready when you get there. This was a real find for me.

Being British I was somewhat skeptical of a decent fish and chips place. I recently had haddock and chips and quite honestly it was fantastic. The Haddock was done perfectly, no bones, not dry and perfectly cooked with a light batter. The chips were simply brilliant. I live just round the corner and will return very soon!!!!

This is superior quality fish and chips made with sustainable fish. Sure you pay a little more for the quality and it might take a few more minutes but it's worth it.
