We enjoyed a 3 day stay in mid July. The buildings grounds are beautiful and well cared for. We stayed in The Garden Cottage Suite, a separate building with a lovely living room, great for entertaining, which we did with another visiting couple! The restaurant was pretty good. Only complaint we ordered beef for dinner, were never asked our preference as to “done ness, ” and predictably, it was overcooked tough disappointing. Other meals though were delicious.

Beautiful place. Parking is a premium if there is an event going on. Staff are friendly and attentive. Our room wasn’t very clean. Unfortunately there were also ants all over the hot tub. Good place for a venue but not for a date weekend.

My husband and I stayed at Glasbern the last weekend in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as the wins and food pairing dinner. It was truly outstanding. Our room was very nice. The location is lovely and it’s so peaceful and serene. I would like to respond to the negative comments about the food. I can’t address what happened in December of 2021 but in July of 2022 the food was delicious. Chef Michael Adams for those of you who don’t know was at Hotel Bethlehem previously) is now at Glasbern and doing incredible things with the the menus and meals. The greenhouse on property supplies much of the produce and herbs used in the meals and the freshness stands out. Our room was clean, quiet and had all the amenities needed. The grounds are well kept. Sadly, there are people who will find fault with something wherever they go. We had a lovely time, great food and look forward to our next stay.
