La Terrasse - Florimont-Gaumier

We had our last meal of our fortnight's holiday and what a place. The surroundings are amazing, the atmosphere is really good and the hosts are really fun. We were there on rib night and they were the best ribs we have ever had - really special. We went with our two children and they loved it as well. Would also the recommend the starter platter - a perfect starter to share. Thoroughly recommended

Tucked away in a rural idyll this little restaurant is one of the most fun places I've eaten. We happened to choose an evening when there was live music, how lucky for us. The singer was superb, the food was plentiful, the service friendly

There is usually something to celebrate and all the events get booked up very quickly, don't miss out on the next gathering which is a home made soup competition from the local community!The food for the event we attended was great!French Onion Soup followed by Chilli Con Carne and a wonderful Apple Strudel all home made and delicious.The atmosphere was excellent, the fire outside was kept well stoked and the fireworks were heard and seen around for miles!Thanks again guys, keep up the great work and all the very best for the future!

Our first visit to the restaurant having walked to Moncalou several times before. We had a splendid lunch. The Floriment Salad is to be recommended - my husband says it is the best salad lunch he has had in France! As we return to the U.K this week we will be unable to visit again- until 2017!

I had been meaning to visit this place for a while and eventually got time. A group of us went on a Friday Night for the BBQ Ribs, it was just so funky, we loved the atmosphere and greeting as soon as we arrived, it made us feel like we were on our holidays, just superb. Sander, Corine and their staff were so fantastic, with their warm and friendly reception of us all and the food was fantastic. This really is a hidden gem. We enjoyed cocktails and some tapas to start off our evening and I just can't wait to go again.
