Contribuiți la feedbackSaint George is a contemporary dining spot offering bistro style cuisine with modern flavours and the menu changes seasonally to ensure they’re using the best of what Sydney has to offer. This relaxed space offers all day dining with brunch options by day and an evening menu too. We’ve attempted to visit by day but found the staff uninviting but the service was excellent and more accommodating by night.
We had the best time at dinner that i think I've ever had! Our server was adorable and full of personality. Attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable. Food is delicious. Great value compared to other places around in Sydney. Great atmosphere too.We will be back again again and again. Favorite place in Sydeny.
First time to Sydney, and had no idea where to visit for my dinner, though I have learned from the Internet that Australia is famous for stake. I did not choose Saint George because I knew it, but because it was located simply near my hotel however, it was just amazing! The attached menu was recommended, and it was (let me repeat please) just amazing! Please try it. You should definitely try it once visiting Sydney. Thank you.
My husband and I came to check this place out for dinner with the 50% fork special and we were pleasantly surprised. <br/ <br/ Service was friendly and the food we ordered was all good. We shared the pea, lemon and smoked ricotta croquette, chicken parfait, citrus cured salmon with skin cracker. They were the highlights of our dinner, the wagyu shin, broccoli and crinkle cut chips were next but the beef could have been more tender. We had a couple of glasses of wines and left before the restaurant got busy and noisy.
Booked through theFork website allowing us to receive half price on our bill for food.<br/ <br/ Really enjoyed the chicken liver pate, pretty big portion considering we ran out of bread. <br/ The pea croquettes were crunchy outside and fluffy inside. <br/ Wonder if the scallops would have tasted nicer if not fried? Not sure but overall it was all tasty.<br/ <br/ Did not like the squid ink gnocchi, it was really mushy and didn't have much flavour to it. The fried sword fish was decent though.<br/ <br/ The risotto was interesting, not like your traditional fish. Was loaded with veggies, dense and heavy. Not to say that's bad or anything, flavours were good, just too heavy for us to finish. <br/ <br/ Broccoli and fried chips are standards like sides normally are. <br/ <br/ Wagyu beef tasted like a stew, wish I had some rice to go with it.<br/ <br/ Service is great here! <br/ <br/ Only thing I wish they had, were coat and bag hangers. Was a little awkward sitting at the long wooden table resting bag and jacket on lap while eating. Otherwise I can't wait for my next visit!
