Chipotle Mexican Grill - Federal Way

One of my top locations for tasty mexican food. you won't be disappointed in the menu and service. service is consistently great. this place has a great atmosphere. they have a lot of good reviews for a reason.

The food was good on Thursday (6/8/23) around 9pm. Multiple servers, glad the one who made our food was good one of the guy servers. Cashier was soooo friendly. One of the other ones (tall lady) wiped the counter with the glove then made someone's wrap wit those glove.

Usually I would give this restaurant all 5 stars, but last night was an exception. The skinny black girl with glasses just stood behind the counter folding foil for gok what reason and ignored the customers in line. Then she came out to talk with her father who demanded double beans and meat on his bowl. The employee complied readily, but gees man just order 2 bowls. Anyway, then the black girl proceeded to go behind the counter again and when approached by a customer, stated she was on break. Basically doing nothing which was what she was doing before she went on break. Besides her, the team couldn't get someone to cashier for quite some time. My question, where was the manager? These young kids work really hard black girl excepted) and just needed some supervision.

This place is hit and miss in a big way; it depends which crew is working. Last night I had a delicious bowl, they gave a proper serving of meat, gave me 1/2 rice like I asked, tasted great. Today, everything tasted completely NO salt. This is probably the 3rd time I've experienced this. It think some of the workers forget to add the salt or something. The worker making it didn't understand English when I told her 1/2 rice. Spooned a tiny amount of meat, so i had to pay an extra $4 for extra. Very inconsistent.

Yesterday I left my cell phone wallet in the bathroom of this Chipotle. I was overjoyed that a customer turned it in. (People are good! Even more wonderful (and why I’m writing this review is that the employees safeguarded it for me! They were super suspicious of me when I showed up to find it. They asked me to identify the left-behind phone, and even compared my ID which was in the wallet to my face! Nothing was missing except the 30 minutes of wasted drive-time I lost by leaving the phone behind on my trip south. Thank you for having a team who has integrity. The woman who helped me (wish I would have read her tag, a kind Latina with curly hair was courteous and even let me give her a hug! She said “God bless you” in response to my gratitude.
