Katsu-mi Japanese Cuisine

The best curry and katsu I've ever had. Chicken was moist and tender, breading was crunchy and the curry was perfect. Even my mom, who doesn't really eat anything, loved it. Kid-friendliness: They gave us bowls and forks for the kids to share the food. Very sweet!

I ordered the chicken bowl and it was amazing! I came to know that the chef learned his cuisines in Japan and he even bakes the bread himself for the batter. Definitely a good place to try out Japanese dishes.

Tucked inside the H Mart in Federal Way, we were so glad we decided to try this place out. Open for less than a year, we were greeted by friendly, smiling faces, and they answered all our questions. I ordered a bowl of udon and my husband pork katsu. The presentation was nice. My udon was great, with perfectly cooked noodles in a delicious broth. So satisfying! I almost stole my husband’s katsu! The breading was light and the pork inside was thick and sooo tender! Wow! We plan on visiting again because we were told the curry is slow simmered for five hours. Yes please!!

I don't think I've ever left a review here but their pork donburi had me in such a chokehold I have to come here all the time until I finally moved away. I'm coming up to visit my son for spring break and I will definitely be getting a dish to take home.
