Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is as much about its location -right by the sea- as it is about its super fresh simple seafood. No frills- just honest to goodness ricci, octopus, squid, prawns, and anything else found in the net. You get plastic plates, knives and forks, a jug of local wine and a plate full of the freshest seafood around. If that is what you love then you are very happy indeed. We certainly were and go there often. It is not as cheap as you might expect, but not a rip off either. As long as the weather is warm and sunny- this is almost still a shed- you won't be disappointed-try it!
This place is in a great location in front of the sea. We ordered a huge plate of sea urchin. I love sea urchin but it's not the season so there was not much inside the sea urchins. I also ordered the sea urchin pasta which was not amazing and very expensive. What they do best is grilled. They had amazing scampi grilled and this was delicious. Also I had a grilled octopus which was delicious and also the octopus salad was great. I don't think pasta is their strength but everything else is good. And obviously the sea urchin is best to have in February and March!
Ate lunch here every day of my holiday to Ostuni, for the second year running. Fantastic fresh seafood. The setting is magnificent. Great spaghetti with ricci, fried mixed seafood, grilled octopus, alici, gamberoni, local wine in jugs. Casual and laid-back, with paper tablecloths and plastic cups, which to me is part of the appeal, having eaten in many fancy restaurants all over the world. You can turn up in your flip flops and beachwear so the plastic chairs are ideal. Yes the staff are also laid-back, so they suit the place perfectly! They never rush you, you just end up feeling beautifully relaxed by the end of your meal. I just can't understand other reviewers who complain about these things, as you can see what sort of a place it is as soon as you drive up in your car. Please go to try it and see for yourself!
Pasquetta all'oasi di riccio. Lo conosco dal 2004 e, non amante dei ristoranti troppo leccato, con menu imposti e (ad esempio) tutti troppo uguali, ho lasciato a casa con un amico senza esitazione e sicuro di trovare posto anche senza prenotazione. il mio amico è stato un po 'perplesso alla vista del set molto rustico e ruspante, ma poi è venuto i riccioli, quelli grandi e pieni, quelli da 7/8 cm di diametro che già da solo fare un pasto. ha ampi occhi aperti e bocca con spaghetti ai frutti di mare, deliziati dal sapore intenso, il mare in bocca. sulla spilla fritta. un piccolo volto che si gonfia in bocca, molto leggero. Mi è piaciuto vederla ottenere tutto con estremo piacere. Per me è l'unico posto di riferimento tra le torri e i salvalletri perché, come i riccioli, dall'esterno può sembrare brutto. Ma dentro. E' un piacere assoluto.
Sulla riva del mare, i migliori spaghetti allo scoglio con la giusta quantità di cozze, vongole, gamberetti e scampi. Spaghetti al dente, salsa perfetta. Servizio con simpatia e celerità.
