Applebee's - Farmington

My mom, sister, and I went there last night, 12/17/2023, between 6:30-7:00. My mom ordered the rib dinner. The meat on them were so thin that I think the bones were thicker. They were overcooked and dry. We did not complain but scraped what little meat was on them off. I did not want to make a deal in front of my 90 year old mom. Very, very disappointed. On another note, our server, Ray, was wonderful .

Potatoes cold not once but both times. Steak had a glob of butter on top, steak wasn't even hot enough to melt the butter..... save your money. The host argued about us asking for a table. Have to admit waitress Miranda was only good thing about our visit.

I was in town to visit family and went to one of the only places open later. We hadn't eaten at Applebee's for a long while so it was fun to try it again. Our server was great. Caitlin was all over our table. She was quick and chatty, in a good way. We were very happy with her. The good was a mixed bag. Two in my family got some pasta with fried chicken in a sweet sauce. Neither of them ate it. My son got it without the sauce and they still didn't like it much. Not terrible, but not great. Soupy. Two in my family got cheeseburgers and both loved them. Nothing bad about these large, tasty burgers. We got three sides: pretzels (good, but didn't like the runny cheese, onion rings (good, and liked the BBQ sauce, and artichoke dip (ok. I got a $5 margarita daiquiri mix. It was sweet and tasted good. But not much on the way of alcohol. Couldn't taste it at all and no effects, if you know what I mean. One thing I missed was a vegetarian option for burgers. Even fast food has them now. Why not here? So overall, the food was below what we hoped. Especially at about $20 per person as our bill came out to. One big bad for me was that as I was washing my hands in the restroom, a busboy came out of the toilet stall and walked quickly past the sink and into the kitchen. Gross.

I was dinning in this afternoon and overheard a manager telling a young server she was a liar. The manager was awful towards her employee just by the way she talked to this young lady. This young lady promised she would never do anything of the sort and the manager went on with calling her a liar. This young lady was in her late teens early twenties maybe. But this manager spoke to her like she was a toddler. long story later the young lady said she would just leave. People wonder why businesses are short staff, this is why. These kids are getting treated like they are two but they are grown ass young adults.

Food was good but the Sunday afternoon service was not that great. The staff stood around the bar chit chatting. Our waitress was good but her coworkers held her back. The food here is at least consistent and you know what you are getting each time you visit.
