Contribuiți la feedbackStaff eventually made eye contact to be served , wow made me feel like they were doing me a favour by serving me!!! Toilet handle broken , floor soaking wet , nearly broke my neck walking in . Informed staff , shrugged shoulders . Awful experience .
The atmosphere was disgusting. The girls behaved very loudly and rudely. It was a shame because I often visit this cafe. I wonder what happened today.
Apparently dogs are allowed to sit on the chairs and be fed at the table in this establishment. When I questioned this practice with the manager she said she would speak to the customers with their dogs as this wasn’t their normal practice. Instead, she told them “someone” had complained instead of dealing with it by asking for the dogs to be removed to the floor. The dogs remained in situ. This resulted in me being targeted and shouted at across the cafe by one of the people with the dogs who then followed me down to the counter to have yet another go at me. If you are happy for dogs to slobber over tables and sit on the chairs, this will be the cafe for you. Personally, I found it totally unhygienic and the manager’s method of handling, very disappointing. We left before I had finished my coffee.
I arrived in Fareham early in the morning on my way to Portchester and stumbled upon Coffee#1 shop. I had tried their coffee before in Dorchester and knew it would be good. The coffee I had that morning was indeed delicious, with a strong and aromatic flavor that I love. I believe Coffee#1 is the best cafe chain in England in terms of the quality of their products. The staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the simple yet pleasing interior design of the shop. The atmosphere was calm and had a nice English vibe. The prices were also affordable. Overall, it felt like I had discovered a little slice of heaven. I would highly recommend Coffee#1 to any coffee lover.
Avoid unless you like the odd rude staff member, she got the drinks Wrong and was fuming, really? Try cleaning the tables between customers or sweeping the floors instead of giving dirty looks and banging plates! Won’t be going there again it’s really gone down hill. It used to be my favourite coffee shop u til they changed some of the staff. The men who serve are lovely.
