Playa Bowls - Fairfax

Fruit was gross. I ordered just a classic açaí bowl. The strawberries were so gross. Soggy like they were defrosted a week ago. The açaí also didn't taste good. Kinda tasted like dirt. Really nothing about it was good. Super blown.

I ordered online, added gratuity, and they messed up the order completely. The cashier did not believe she missed the order and had to explain and show her with the receipt. Food is excellent, but the service is horrible.

I love their Playola Cold Brew, which is chicory coffee (New Orleans style). They offer all sorts of milk alternatives for free, so I thankfully had it with oat milk without any extra charge. I also greatly appreciate that the coffee was not overpriced. I used to have to drive all the way down to Georgetown, DC, to have the chicory coffee, but not anymore!!

Unprofessional, No leadership. They was out of a certain item and I heard them saying they was out of it to each other but they were too scared to tell me and kept me waiting for 16 minutes until I finally said something first.If you’re going to have a business ran by high school kids you need at least 1 person in charge that actually takes the job seriously.

Playa Bowl smoothie bowls are top tier. The size looks small but is quite filling. Ingredients are always fresh. I always appreciate the flexibility with substitutions. Seating space is limited however, and can feel a little crowded as it is a popular spot.
