I love Scuttlebutt. But the last few times we have tried to go it is extremely busy and gave up trying to get space. After all, it took 2 hours on a Sunday night before they closed and it was still packed. Almost an hour for our party of 2 to get food. Cobb Salat was as expected, but the salmon was hard and dry, rice was mush, asparagus was very undercooked. Personally, I don't like the beer cheese... it's kind of rough, it tastes like mustard, very deceitful. The waitress was very friendly and offered to take the salmon out of the bill. I felt bad for all employees. This place is far too busy or perhaps understaffed? and the food quality is not what it should be.

Good service, good brews with selection and decent food with a decent menu. We docked our boat after a sailing around the sound for a bite. The shell strips and chips are not so big, nor are the onion rings. The onion rings look good, but the bread is not and the onions are soggy. The burgers are good. Philly cheese steak sandwich is something to stop. Fish and chips are pretty decent. If you're looking for a lunch, here?

Great beer if you weren't! Two stars for beer. 1 for service, other wise food was casual good, but not worth $40 for a fish sandwich and 2 beers. Don't understand the onion rings, they were so delicate with oil. The fish sandwich was great after I added tartaric acid for $0.25. As you can see, the Mayo was cut off on the side. Bartender gave great beer and menu advice and service was great other than the boy's host told me the terrace was full when there were clear 2 tables open...

Great place to relax with a beer and fish and chips. Husband loves the Jumbo Tiger Shrimps. Everyone loves the pub wings! We had the buffalo with bleu cheese, but it was gone before I could make a picture.

This place has ruined me for other hamburgers. The Boson Burger is hands down the best burger I have ever had. It is built immaculately, the ratio of flavors is perfect, and the produce used is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant ambience blends the perfect amount of a full fledged bar and the family friendly atmosphere of other sit down restaurants. The real estate looking out on the waters of the Port makes this place an essential institution for all.
