Union Squared Pizza Detroit Style

Pizza was pretty decent! I felt the scallion was the highlight. Perfect mixture of Italian and Japanese/Asian flavors. Chopped Wedge was bigger than we thought! We added chicken in that, the chicken was tender and juicy. Worth it!

Union has been a family favorite for years! The food is consistently delicious and they have great cocktails. I tried the matcha one this past time- it was so refreshing. The kale salad was the best part of the meal! And we always love the calamari and any of the pizzas.

I placed my order by phone.. usually it takes 20-30 minutes.. today I had to wait 1 hour for just 3 pizzas. Also people who ordered after me, got their pizza first which seems that this restaurant wasn?t respecting the order on who order first? One of my pizzas (margherita) was ready like 10-15 minutes before the other two, and when everything was ready and I got back home the margherita was cold. I feel very disappointed because even though the manager understood mypoint, nobody did anything about it or even tried to apologize for the delay (two hosts). A bold guy was the only one that helped me bring my pizzas to the oven, but it didn?t make any difference.

Good spot for some neapolitan pizza. Not pictured but their old fashioned was awesome. It was smokey and tasted great.

Great pizza and awesome apps keeps us coming back. The brick oven pizza is some of the best in the city. Also the staff is very friendly.
