FrÍo Gelato Evanston

I had already tried this at Navy Pier. This is my favorite ice cream shop in Chicago. I love the flavors actually taste like what they should. It is not too sweet and up like other places and the consistency is just the right thing for me. They have really interesting aromas and they change them throughout the year. The waffle cones are also really good both vanilla and chocolate. The vegan options are also really good. I like to support Latinos as the owners are from Argentina. Very recommended.

The gelato is wonderful!! unique and funny flavors, not heavy, and simply beautiful. the maracuya is a favorite. Service is great. absolutely recommended!

Lovely place with fabulous gelato. Very nice and helpfull young women working there. Also, 5 flavors of sorbet. I had strawberry and mint choc chip gelato since you could try two flavors even if ordering a small cup. My friend had peach sorbet. We went back another time because it was so good and fresh.
