My wife and I try to understand by the staff, but when another customer comes in the back door, sits at an unclean table, a full 10-15 minutes after our arrival and gets his order before us we decided to go. We saw the other way when another couple first got their order, but twice was above the line. We've eaten in Glenwood and the food is always good. Not sure when we will return. We left $5.00 for two cups of raw coffee.
Had yesterday a great meal there for 36 years food always tasty, they keep the atmosphere the same witch makes it such a warm and friendly place to eat, just a note in the middle of our meal a man reached his hand in front of my face no more than 8 inches and asked me to give him the hot sauce I grab the wrong, not as his hand got closer to my face he said the other I can suspect
I enjoyed the food and Mimosas are delicious. I got the French toast with fruit topping and my friend got the avocado toast and we both enjoyed our food. The coffee wasn't for us. The server was nice, but abused my friend, corrected himself, then said whatever and it was unpleasant and a little annoying to my friend. We did not suspect that the server meant any damage, but I think it would not hurt to discuss with employees who ask their gender or simply, you know, with non-generated terminology. In addition, everyone was nice and working dillingent to offer great service and great food!
I had breakfast twice here while I visited Eugene and both times the food was delicious. Very secret. Your potatoes are like my own mother. Up there on this friendly place!
If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! It is very hard to find a place that serves breakfast on the weekend without waiting in line! Not only did we not have to wait, we got to choose our own table in a space with beautiful lightning, had the most courteous waiter, was given a large menu without any rush to choose from and enjoyed a cup of coffee while reading the free local paper while we waited! Meanwhile the waiter informed us about some of the fruit coming from local orchards and we very much enjoyed his friendly conversation as well as what we were learning about this restaurant! After looking over the menu, we decided to share a breakfast burrito minus the ham and bacon subbed with veggie sausage plus a fruit cup on the side. Without even asking our food was brought out with an extra plate plus set of utensils, extra veggie meat in the burrito and yellow plums from a local orchard! The burrito was more than enough for the both of us!! We had leftovers which we excitedly took home! Every bite was well seasoned, a comfort breakfast delight with ample serving portions!! ? P.S The bathroom was very clean, ample parking and the restaurant is in an easy to find great location!
