Contribuiți la feedbackYum! If you saw this place pop up on Main St in Winooski recently and keep going to yourself 'ooh, I really should try that place ' then do yourself a favor and GO! I kept walking past and wish I 'd gone in sooner. I think my husband and I have a new go-to spot, especially in the colder months when we 're looking for filling, warm comfort food. Affordable enough to be a 'let 's grab dinner ' place for us and not a 'once in a while date night ' place. It 's cozy and delicious and has a bunch of vegetarian dishes that don 't feel like a comprise or like a 'less-than ' option at all.
First experience with Argentinian food, so nothing to compare to. Got the carne empanada and milanesa sandwich, both delicious. Not sure what the sauce on sandwich was, but really good. First time also having chimichurri sauce, quite addicting. My only complaint is the price of the empanadas, $3.50 for one.
Dale Boca Cafe'...Yes I'm only giving the place 4 stars today. My wife and I went there for the first time last night, Friday June 14th 2019. We went there specifically for the Empanadas, that's what they advertise the most as you drive by, so we figured that's what we would definitely try. She was expecting a sweet empanada, which they are not, so we chose a savory Pollo as well as a Tomato Mozzarella Basil and they were both extremely tasty and cooked to perfection.. $3.50 ea....ouch! But good.. Dale Boca loses a star because while waiting (was not long at all) we were scanning their desserts in the glass cooler right in front as you walk in, both Flan dishes had a huge moldy spot... little gross.. so just double check your desserts, beyond that enjoy this place it IS really good..
Sandwiches use high quality meat and bread, flavorful sauces. Desserts are rich and delicious. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Owner is friendly and welcoming.
Great service and good quality, yet don't be fooled: these empanadas are the size of a ravioli and priced at $3.50 EACH. My wife and I got 6 for $20 thinking that should certaily cover dinner. Nice snack, but by far not a meal. Would not recommend, and will not be back!
