Cilantro's - Esmeralda K

I would rate this 3.5 as it’s better than average but is not very good. There was nothing to complain about. The food was tasty and exceptionally large portions. We had the place to ourselves for most the meal (there was only one other couple...in the restaurant who arrived as we were finishing our mains) but because the seating area is upstairs we didn’t feel like the waiters were watching us the whole time. Our waiter was helpful and talked us through the dishes that we were unsure of.

OMG! a private table for two on the beach with candles and torches and multiple waiters on an amazingly gorgeous night with a nearly full moon... what on Earth could possible make this scenario anything but perfect?!?!? oh yeah... THE FOOD! This place was expensive...even by our Los Angeles standards and the food was absolutely inedible!!! Im not a picky eater at all, yet even I thought this was one of the worst meals Ive ever had!! They need to fire the entire kitchen staff and hire...I dunno... ANYONE else to cook in this place!!! It an absolutely beautiful hotel and setting, its unconscionable that they serve rotten fish for $100/plate U.S.!!

We just happened on this restaurant when driving down the road. We were treated so well. They let us use the chairs and even gave us towels. We ate lunch here. It was awesome. I had the sea bass sandwich which was the best. My...husband had the fish tacos which were also very good. You can’t go wrong eating here. The view was also worth sitting and looking at for hours.

Such a lovely experience with attentive staff that really fussed over my kids and made them feel special. A great broad selection of continental and local options in a lovely setting. Perfect for a morning stroll down the beach.

This restaurant on the beach was sublime. The service was excellent and everyone was helpful beyond measure. The food we had there was wonderful. I cannot express how enjoyable the day was due to the staff, food and beach. We were sad to leave.
