Contribuiți la feedbackThe food is excellent and the service is great. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it is quite noisy. We could have a conversation but the background noise was loud. I loved the food!
I went with my family on a Friday night hoping for some good Italian food. Unfortunately, all we got was an experience that could be described as mediocre at best. We had to wait for almost an 1 hour and a half for our food while multiple others who came after us got theirs in a timely fashion and were almost done eating by the time we got ours. Our food was not complicated by any means (half a salad, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti, and a rigatoni dish) that would justify the extreme wait. While we were waiting the server kept shoving bread onto our table—which we never requested. Because of this, by the time we got our food we were only able to finish half of our plates due to being mostly full from all the bread. The food itself wasn’t worth the wait either. It was mediocre. I have tasted Olive Garden dishes better than the ones we ordered. If you’re looking for a good Italian place in Erie, this is not the one.
Food was Luke warm. Took exceptionally long for our meals. Very disappointed. Not worth the $110.
Had never been to Mi Scuzi at their old location but figured we would try it out for our 15th anniversary. The new location at the mall has a nice ambiance and was well laid out. Our server was obviously new to the profession but she was very nice. The food was the killer for us. For a authentic Italian restaurant that has been around Erie for as long as I can remember it was not very good at all. Starting with the complimentary garlic knots that did not have any garlic anywhere in or around them and some sliced parm on top that you basically had to eat separately because it did not adhere to the bread at all. We ordered the stuffed poblano peppers for an appetizer which were very good. As for the entrees, my wife ordered chicken picatta which had less than ten capers and did not have any lemon flavor at all. The chicken was bland and the pasta tasted store bought. I did the tour which was three samples of mi scuzi favorites which included prime rib pot roast, ravioli and chicken marscapone. The pot roast was dry and tasted like microwavable meat, the chicken was dry and flavorless with a piece of cheese melted on top. The ravioli filling was very good and my favorite part of the whole meal. We purchased a bottle of wine and ordered two drinks for the appetizer a spicy watermelon mule and Tito's shandy. The watermelon mule stated it came with jalapenos which it did not and was more sweet than spicy and the Tito's shandy tasted so overwhelmingly of ginger I couldn't finish more than a third of it. We were so disappointed as it is close to our home and initially thought this could be our new date night spot. Maybe we hit it on a bad night but we expected a lot more.
Went at dinner time on a Tuesday and was immediately told, despite all the tables outside being empty and about 80% of the tables inside being empty, that they weren't accepting anyone or any reservations.
