Icing On The Lake - Erie

My husband ordered my birthday cake (my favorite—almond cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting) from here over the weekend. They did an AMAZING job. The cake looked almost too pretty to eat, and it tasted even better!! Highly recommend

I ordered a cake for a retirement party for a few of my husband’s employees. The cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it at the party. The day I picked it up, it was pouring rain and I didn’t have an umbrella. Heidi was kind enough to wrap the box in bags to make sure it got back to my car without getting soaked. Along with the cake, I couldn’t resist getting a couple extra treats. The cheesecake pops were out of this world and I got some of their dog treats for my pups. Everything was great!

I ordered their sugar free cupcakes for my diabetic fiance and I wanted a peanut butter frosting. When I picked them up, she told me they had made the frosting sugar free as well before adding the peanut butter. Typically, it wasn't made as a sugar free option. I'm so happy they were able to do this. Of course, being sugar free, you always worry about taste. They were AMAZING!! The cake was moist and the frosting was extremely smooth and fluffy. I'm so happy with my order. Thank you so much!!!

It can be challenging to find good gluten free treats. Hubby purchased several gluten free cupcakes for me for my birthday. They were EXCELLENT. I do not eat treats often, but I will be headed to Icing on the Lake for my next purchase of goodies. Thank you for creating great GF cupcakes that taste like cupcakes!

Smells delicious when you walk in. Bought a cake for my birthday and they gave me a cake pop. Cake was the perfect texture, light and airy. Location is so cool surrounded by other fun shops! Can't wait to go back and try other goodies!
