The beer and wine selection seems carefully and intelligently curated, and the gentleman behind the bar manages the entire place with ease, even though he is the only one there. Will definitely return again soon!
Very cool, hipster type place. Super unique only being open on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Beer selection was good and the pizza was very fresh and delicious. A bit of a wait for the pizza but we weren't in a hurry. Service overall was great.
This may be the best pizza I have eaten. It's Detroit style. Crust is crunchy and toppings are flavorful. My favorite is Apocalypse Wow. Got a tinge of spice. The downside is they are only open Wednesday and Thursday. Very few tables but quaint. Can get very busy during tourist season. There is one pizza maker and one waiter. They are busy. Ryan bartends and serves. He is so knowledgeable on wines, beers and pairings. It takes patience, or early arrival, to dine here. But I guarantee it's worth the wait.
We visited Bad Moravian on Wednesday 9/20/23. We had a great time and really great Detroit style pizza as well as some awesome beer selections. The DSP was perfectly made and surpassed my already high expectations. Bad Moravian should be a destination for everyone going to Door County. We love DSP and will be back every chance we have.
This is a little gem of a place with micro brews. The pizza is delicious. But I can't give them 5 stars because it's so salty. I love salt, but the pizza is so salty that I have to drink water for hours after I eat it. All four of us at the table experienced this, as have others I've spoken to. If they could just cut the salt in half, they'd have the best pizza in Door County. As far as ambiance, there isn't much, which is fine. But the chairs are extremely uncomfortable.
