Taste Jamaica - Ellsworth

I ordered the Pan Seared Haddock and it was delicious!! I plan on returning in the near future and trying the Shrimp.

They arent real or genuine Jamaican food. But if youre a Mainer you wont notice. Still as a Newyorker its too obvious

Excellent food from incredibly friendly people. Loved them from their first location to this second one. Such a pleasant surprise to find this cuisine way up here in Ellsworth. The ribs are divine, as is the chicken. I love the veggies they serve. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the food consistently wonderful. Highly recommended if you are in the area!!

The place looks like a table inside a store, but don't let that deceive you. The food is fresh and very delicious. The curry goat is on point.

SO GOOD! We were surprised to find a Jamaican restaurant up here on our way to Acadia. We decided to stop and give a chance, so glad we did! Generous portions, great service, delicious and fresh food, and reasonable prices. Some of the best Jamaican food we have ever had! get the oxtail!! We will be stopping here every time we’re in the area
