Shannon's Saloon - Ellicott City

Local Hangout. With the plethora of ethnic restaurants in the strip mall paradise that is Columbia and Ellicott City, I made it my mission to find a local non-chain restaurant that served decent American cuisine at a reasonable cost. That search ended when I found Shannon's. Shannon's is not the fanciest restaurant I have been to, but it is comfortable. A large friendly local contingent frequents the bar. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is very high quality.I had the pot roast special and it melted in my mouth. I have tried several dishes and all were satisfying. I was told to come early for prime rib night as the place fills up fast.If you are looking for some of those true American classics I recommend Shannon's.

Abundant, delicious and appetizing lunch, hot cream of crab cup Outstanding ! O4/15/2O22 Yesterday, a coworker was enjoying Shannon's Saloon delicious shrimp salad for lunch. This evening dinner, I ordered shrimp salad and onion rings, with easy, friendly curbside service. Totally, worth the trip, absolutely, abundant, delectable shrimp salad with onion rings, I have added to my list dining experiences.

Finally. A classic. Great food. Regulars. Comfort food. Busy bartenders. Sorry. Most restaurants I have eaten in Howard county Bminus. C plus. Comparatively. This is A minus to A plus. Comfort food. No b s. All substance over style. Real patrons. Not for show. This place saved me!!

Food selection was a little limited but everything they have is very good and the prices are great. Super beer selection. And our server was great very attentive and personable. Highly recommend you give them a try.

Great service, delish food, comfy and clean, too! Really nice brunch menu but their chicken sandwich is SO tasty!
