Sant Vicenc - El Pont de Bar

The restaurant is just along the road easy to reach and park. The personnel was friendly and quick. The restaurant itself looks good and has nice views. We had a menu with quite some options, of 30 €. It really tasted good and was of good quality.

We had lunch in the restaurant (25 Euro for a fixed menu although some items had a supplement). The service was good. Salad with mozzarella and melon had a wonderful dressing The beef main was really excellent (supplement applied) Chocolate mousse and chocolate cake with hazelnut ice cream very good Only downside a slightly medicinal smell to the floor polish but they agreed to open the window. The picnic option might be a bit unshaded at this time of year, as far as we could see. The general outlook from the hotel was lovely over the river and the mountain, you look away from the road and the noise from the road is not a problem.

We arrived at the hotel and took advantage of the thermal waters for about 45 minutes before dinner. It was a lot of fun and they have some nice water features for such a small place. Afterwards we went to have dinner and I really wasn´t expecting as nice a dinner as we enjoyed. My first course was mi cuit and was awesome. The presentation was really nice as well. My husband had the garbanzo cream and it was good, but not as good as my dish. We both had the grilled fish platter which had a bit of salmon,hake shrimp and something else that I can´t remember. It was fantastic! I finished with sherbet and we really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The view from our hotel room was great and the bed was really comfortable. It is a very good value.

En todos los sentidos espectacular , ubicacion , atenciones , entorno , cocina , un lugar especial para sentir y recibir , gracias Anna Marta y a todo el equipo

Resumido en 4 puntos (atentos al punto 4): 1. Unas vistas preciosas del Segre y un entorno natural magnifico. Perfecto para relajarse simplemente mirando al vacío, leyendo un buen libro o tomandote un cocktail con tu pareja. 2. Unas habitaciones e instalaciones perfectamente limpias, especiales por su fusión con lo antiguo, la comodidad de lo moderno y toques de sencillez (casi medieval) de cerraduras manuales, vigas centenarias descubiertas, etc, etc. Una austeridad provocada que llama la atención pero sin causar mal gusto a mi juicio. 3. Un balneario completo, con todo lo esencial, muy bien atendido por personal extremadamente educado, rozando al teletubbie rojo en algunos casos... El agua es termal, natural, sulfurosa, se notan los beneficios en la piel desde el primer dia y no apesta a huevos pochos como otros sitios. 4. Y lo mejor....el restaurante. Es totalmente injusto y un desperdicio para la sociedad que este equipo de cocina no esté nominado, como mínimo, para una recomendación Michelín o Repsol. Venir a comer a esta casa vale la pena sólo por degustar unos platos que dificilmente puedes creer tener en boca al precio de un menú ejecutivo. El personal del restaurante es absolutamente exquisito a la par que profesional, derrochando una natural simpatía para nada forzada. Para mi gusto es magnifico, un rincón que debes experimentar como escapada rápida y relax anual de obligado cumplimiento. Si queréis una crítica constructiva, ahí va: Cada año que voy el personal que da los masajes ha cambiado, y al igual que en este sitio me han hecho el mejor masaje y/o reflexología de mi vida, también me han hecho la peor. Y conste que no es una crítica a la persona que me lo ha hecho, que se esmeró mucho todo hay que decirlo, pero hay manos y manos. La experiencia es un grado entre los buenos masajistas. A mi me gusta que me pregunten si me está gustando el masaje durante el masaje, no después. Asi el masajista demuestra interés por si se necesita más nivel de presión, menos, etc. Un masaje demasiado flojo es como una comida sin sal.
