El Pollo Loco - El Monte

Formerly known as Bukanas, Xécora is now serving up exquisite urban gastronomy that rivals Guisados. I tried three different tacos and they were all delicious. The Paloma I ordered was fantastic - made with lavender-infused tequila and real Toronja juice. Delicious!

The restaurant is pretty good with decent prices and food, especially if you're looking for local seafood. Update as of April 28, 2016: They do offer Happy Hour, contrary to what we were told during our last visit. The waitress charged us more but thankfully, the owner was present this time and credited our bill. Great service and delicious Micheladas.

Great place with amazing food. It doesn't offer enough seating privacy for my taste. But if you like open eating areas this is you're place.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I must say the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. However, the service was terrible. It took a long time for the servers to bring our food, and there were people waiting even though there were empty and dirty tables. I would have given them a 5-star rating, but I couldn't because of the poor service.

A casual, ethnic seafood restaurant/full bar on Peck and Lower Azusa. They make a delicious tamarind margarita. Interesting menu.
